- On the bottom of the second page we need a “list of actions,” so take notes when you do your research.
- The local church follows the Annual Conference site directions, starts the search for an answer, fills out the first part of the “Checklist,” forwards the query and checklist to the district board of administration.
- The district board receives the query and checklist from the congregation. At the next meeting the board considers the query using the Annual Conference site directions, continues the search for an answer, fills out the next part of the “Checklist,” and forwards the query and checklist to the District Conference Officers.
- The District Conference Officers must receive the query in time to be published in the Business Book which must be mailed and received by church delegates at least two weeks before District Conference.
- So, a query that was received one week before District Conference would wait for the next year’s conference.
- The District Conference Officers receive the query and checklist from the district board. At the next District Conference the delegates consider the query using the Annual Conference site directions, continue the search for an answer, the officers fill out the next part of the “Checklist,” and forward the query and checklist to Annual Conference by December 1st.
