Trainer: Julie M. Hostetter, Executive Director, Brethren Academy for Ministerial Leadership (Joe Detrick, Interim District Executive Minister, will assist in the training).
What it is: As part of the 5 year ordination review coming up in 2015, each ordained minister must complete an Ethics Training event. Licensed ministers are also required to attend this training. Members of the Ministry Commission, NACC, and the Ministerial Ethics Committee are strongly encouraged to attend.
Course info: There will be 3 Ministerial Ethics Training sessions in our district, please plan to attend one of them. Each event will be held from 10am to 4pm, with a one hour lunch break. For the training at Empire and Papago Buttes locations: Lunch will be provided for a free will donation. For the ULV training lunch is provided for a nominal fee and payable on-site. The workbook for this course is Healthy Boundaries 201 - Beyond Basics, it will be available on-site. Certificates will be mailed out to attendees a week later.

Tuesday, October 21 - Papago Buttes Church of the Brethren 2450 N 64th Street, Scottsdale, AZ (lunch inc. for free will donation)
Retired? Retired ministers must attend, if your activities for the next 5 years may include:
1. Those serving in local church leadership positions
2. Those engaged in teaching ministries at any level
3. Those involved in wider church ministries - district, national, or ecumenical
4. Those holding part-time volunteer ministerial positions at any level
