Overview of Course:
What are your God-given talents, gifts or Strengths? Are they fully engaged in ministry? Learn how Gallup Strengths Finder can energize you and your congregation, and help all find more satisfying ways to serve.

Five Sessions (60 to 90 minutes):
I. Did You Know. . . ? Study of Ephesians
• Survey of Ephesians to help participants know that they were called before creation, gifted with grace and gifts for service, equipped and released for ministry.

II. Teaching on Spiritual Gifts from 1 Corinthians 12 and Romans 12
• Review the purpose of spiritual gifts and what the gifts are.
• Homework: Take Strengths Survey

III. Introduction to Strengths
• Give over-view of Strengths and how they apply to ministry

IV. Individual Coaching
• One-on-one coaching to help participants make personal application of their Strengths to their lives and to help them begin thinking about possibilities for
ministry.

V. Calling and Ministry: Where is God calling you to make a difference?
• Challenge participants to engage their gifts and Strengths into ministry.

Presenters Biographical Information:
Jeff Glass is an ordained minister in the Church of the Brethren. He currently serves as a Congregational Life Team Member for the Western districts on behalf of the General Board of the Church of the Brethren. He has served as pastor of several congregations in the Pacific Southwest District.


Who Should Attend: CREDO students (apply to CREDO first), licensed ministrers, pastors, and interested lay persons.
